Hershey Man Wins $3,000 Mega Cash Prize

February 18, 2009 – Patrick Dougherty of Hershey won $3,000 playing the $10 Scratch game Mega Cash from the Nebraska Lottery.

Dougherty purchased his winning Mega Cash ticket at Western Gas & Convenience, 814 North Spur 56c in Hershey. Scratching the ticket, he revealed matching symbols for a corresponding prize of $3,000.

There are two $3,000 prizes available in Mega Cash. Dougherty is the second person to claim a $3,000 Mega Cash prize to date.

Mega Cash is a $10 Scratch game from the Nebraska Lottery that offers players the chance to win $864,750 in cash prizes from $10 to $100,000. The odds of winning $3,000 playing Mega Cash are 1 in 120,000, while the overall odds of winning any prize are 1 in 3.10.
