$1,000 Blazing Cash Prize for Hastings Man

February 6, 2009 – Brian Slansky of Hastings won $1,000 playing the $5 Scratch game Blazing Cash from the Nebraska Lottery.

Slansky purchased his winning Blazing Cash ticket at Uncle Neal's, 734 South Burlington Avenue in Hastings. Scratching the ticket, he revealed matching numbers with a corresponding prize of $1,000.

There are four $1,000 prizes available in Blazing Cash. Slansky is the second person to claim a $1,000 prize to date.

Blazing Cash is a $5 Scratch game from the Nebraska Lottery that offers players the chance to win $1,632,000 in cash prizes from $5 to $50,000. The odds of winning $1,000 playing Blazing Cash are 1 in 120,000, while the overall odds of winning any prize are 1 in 3.59.
