$22,000 2by2 Top Prize for Pleasant Dale Woman
December 5, 2008 – Pamela Pierce of Pleasant Dale recently won $22,000 playing 2by2 from the Nebraska Lottery.
There were more than 7,000 Nebraska Lottery winners in the Monday, December 1, drawings. Among these winners was Pierce, who purchased a quick pick 2by2 ticket at Pleasant Dale Quick Stop, 500 Cedar Avenue in Pleasant Dale. The ticket contained the winning red ball numbers (9, 16) and winning white ball numbers (4, 14) from the December 1 drawing for a corresponding prize of $22,000.
One hundred and sixty-five Nebraska Lottery players have won the top prize in 2by2 to date.
While claiming her prize on December 3, Pierce told Nebraska Lottery officials that her first reaction to winning was thinking there was “no way” she had won the $22,000 prize. She learned of her win after visiting the Nebraska Lottery web site, nelottery.com. Pierce plans to pay bills using her winnings.
2by2 is run by the Multi-State Lottery Association and was introduced in June 2002. Players in Kansas, Nebraska and North Dakota have the opportunity to win up to $22,000 Monday through Sunday by playing 2by2. The odds of winning the $22,000 2by2 top prize are 1 in 105,625, while the overall odds are 1 in 3.59.
