Lincoln Man Wins $4,000 Double Doubler Prize

October 20, 2008 – Scott Farmer of Lincoln won $4,000 playing the $1 Scratch game Double Doubler from the Nebraska Lottery.

Farmer purchased his winning Double Doubler ticket while purchasing gas at The C-Station, 1120 South Coddington Avenue in Lincoln. Scratching the ticket, Farmer revealed three matching dollar amounts for a $4,000 prize.

There are two $4,000 top prizes available in Double Doubler. Farmer is the second person to claim a top prize to date.

While claiming his prize on October 10, Farmer told Nebraska Lottery officials that at first, he thought he had won $2,000. A closer inspection revealed that he had won the $4,000 top prize. Farmer plans to use his winnings for an upcoming vacation.

Double Doubler was a $1 Scratch game from the Nebraska Lottery that offered players the chance to win $504,020 in cash prizes from $1 to $4,000. The odds of winning the $4,000 top prize in Double Doubler were 1 in 840,000 while the overall odds of winning any prize were 1 in 3.89.
