Three Semi-Finalists Chosen for Pick 5 and Drive Promotion
July 1, 2008 – In a drawing on July 1, three semi-finalists were chosen for the Nebraska Lottery Pick 5 and Drive online promotion. These finalists are:
- Madonna Sappenfield of Omaha
- Glenda Amsberry of Valentine
- Barry Clayton of Omaha
The Pick 5 and Drive promotion allows players to enter the ticket serial number from any non-winning Nebraska Pick 5 Lotto ticket online at nelottery.com for a chance to win a custom Orange County Choppers™ motorcycle. Eligible tickets must be non-winners and must have been purchased between Saturday, June 14 and Tuesday, July 15, 2008.
Two preliminary drawings will be held in July to select a total of five semi-finalists who will compete in a Grand Prize drawing on July 20 at the Lincoln Saltdogs baseball game. One Grand Prize winner will receive the OCC™ chopper, which features a design exclusive to Nebraska. The four remaining finalists will receive cash prizes from $2,500 to $1,000. The motorcycle prize is valued at $87,857, which includes $1,300 for costs associated with ownership and state and federal withholding paid by the Nebraska Lottery of $4,393 and $21,964, respectively.
The next preliminary drawing will be held on July 16, 2008. Entries must be received at nelottery.com by 11:59:59 p.m. (CT) on July 15, 2008, to be eligible for this drawing.
