Friend Man Wins 2by2 Top Prize

June 27, 2008 – Scott Borgman of Friend recently won $22,000 playing 2by2 from the Nebraska Lottery.

There were more than 6,000 Nebraska Lottery Lotto winners in the Monday, June 23, drawings, including two $22,000 Nebraska 2by2 winners. Borgman purchased his winning 2by2 ticket at Casey's General Store, 301 West 13th Street in Crete. The quick pick ticket contained the winning red ball numbers (13, 21) and white ball numbers (1, 15) from the June 21 drawing for a corresponding prize of $22,000.

While claiming his prize on June 26, Borgman told Nebraska Lottery officials that he learned he had won the 2by2 top prize earlier that day when he checked his ticket at a Nebraska Lottery retailer. He plans to pay bills and purchase a new truck using his winnings.

One hundred and fifty-three Nebraska Lottery players have won the 2by2 top prize to date.

2by2 is run by the Multi-State Lottery Association and was introduced in June 2002. Players in Kansas, Nebraska and North Dakota have the opportunity to win up to $22,000 Monday through Sunday by playing 2by2. The odds of winning the $22,000 2by2 top prize are 1 in 105,625, while the overall odds are 1 in 3.59.
