Nebraska Lottery Releases Twelfth Edition of Truck$ & Buck$

 June 16, 2008 – The Nebraska Lottery is releasing the twelfth edition of its popular $2 Scratch game Truck$ & Buck$.

The Truck$ & Buck$ Scratch game features the 2008 Toyota Tundra 4x4 Double Cab truck as its top prize. Players have the opportunity to win one of three Toyota Tundras as well as $492,200 in total cash prizes.

Each Tundra features 50 state emissions, 22” alloy wheels, chrome tube steps, fog lights, six speaker AM/FM/CD stereo, automatic limited slip differential, bucket seats, tow package and bed liner. The truck prize is valued at $45,000, which includes $750 for costs associated with ownership and state and federal withholding paid by the Nebraska Lottery of $2,250 and $11,250, respectively.

The Truck$ & Buck$ Scratch game will be available at Nebraska Lottery retailers starting on June 16. The odds of winning the top prize in Truck$ & Buck$ are 1 in 160,000 while the overall odds of winning any prize are 1 in 3.66.

During the months of June, July and August, players who send in $10 worth of non-winning $2 Scratch tickets will be entered in the Truck$ & Buck$ Second Chance Tundra Giveaway for another chance to win a fourth Toyota Tundra 4x4 Double Cab truck. Hand-delivered entries will also be accepted during the 2008 Nebraska State Fair at the Nebraska Lottery booth. Preaddressed envelopes for entries are available at Nebraska Lottery retailers.

Three preliminary drawings will be held to select a total of 15 semi-finalists who will compete for cash prizes and a fourth Toyota Tundra 4x4 Double Cab truck at the Grand Prize drawing event during the Nebraska State Fair.
