Nebraska City Man Wins $1,000 10 Times Lucky Prize

March 20, 2008 – James Gress of Nebraska City won $1,000 playing the $10 Scratch game 10 Times Lucky from the Nebraska Lottery.

Gress purchased his winning 10 Times Lucky ticket at Kwik Shop, 503 South 11th Street in Nebraska City. Scratching the ticket, he revealed one matching number in game ten for a corresponding $100 prize. Because the matching number was in game ten, Gress’ prize was multiplied ten times for a total win of $1,000.

There are three $1,000 prizes available in 10 Times Lucky. Gress is the second person to claim a $1,000 prize to date.

While claiming his prize at Nebraska Lottery headquarters, Gress told Nebraska Lottery officials that he had to “look at the ticket three times” before he believed he had won the $1,000 prize. Gress plans to pay bills with his winnings.
