Battle Creek Man Wins $40,000 Playing Holiday Cheers Bingo

January 13, 2011 – Tim Oldehoeft of Battle Creek won $40,000 playing the $5 Scratch game Holiday Cheers™ Bingo from the Nebraska Lottery.

Oldehoeft purchased his winning Holiday Cheers Bingo ticket at Tilly's, 316 West Main Street in Battle Creek. Scratching the ticket, he revealed matching numbers in an “X” formation on Card 6 for a corresponding prize of $40,000.

There are three $40,000 top prizes available in Holiday Cheers Bingo. Oldehoeft is the first person to claim a top prize to date. He plans to pay bills using his winnings.
