Omaha Woman Wins $3,600 Playing Nebraska Pick 3

October 21, 2009 – Michelle Morales of Omaha won a total of $3,600 playing Nebraska Pick 3 from the Nebraska Lottery.

For the October 9 drawing, Morales purchased two Nebraska Pick 3 tickets at Baker’s, 5222 South 136th Street in Omaha. One ticket contained five plays with the Straight bet type selected. Each play contained the winning numbers 3, 7, 8 from the October 9 drawing for a total of $3,000.

Morales’ second ticket contained one play with the winning numbers and the Straight bet type selected for $600, making her total winnings $3,600.

To date, over 2,783 players have won the $600 top prize in Nebraska Pick 3.

Nebraska Pick 3 was introduced in May of 2005. Nebraska Pick 3 sales have exceeded $9 million and provided more than $2 million for Nebraska Lottery beneficiary funds. The odds of winning the Nebraska Pick 3 $600 top prize are 1 in 1,000 and the odds of winning any prize vary with the bet type selected.
