The game of a lifetime – Lucky for Life – will soon be the newest lottery game available to Nebraska Lottery players. Beginning August 20, players will be able to purchase Lucky for Life in retailers across the state. Drawings are on Mondays and Thursdays.
We just wrapped up the first round of the Summer Jackpot Second-Chance Promotion and drew for three semifinalist who will have the opportunity to participate in a Grand Prize contest at the Nebraska State Fair on August 26. Due to the high interest in the contest, we have received a lot of correspondence asking us who the winners might be and when that will be announced.

On Monday, April 10, the numbers drawn for Nebraska Pick 3 were 2, 2, and 2. Apparently, a lot of people like to play those numbers because 50 winning tickets were purchased for that drawing. That is a pretty big deal in our office as we rarely see that many winners claim the top prize from a game. We were lucky enough to have one of the winners come into our office and claim their $3,000 from that drawing.
People often ask how frequently winners come through the doors at Lottery HQ. It is the humble opinion of this writer that I’m winning every time I walk into work each morning, so that answer is every day. On a more serious note, winners really do come in more often than one might think.
