Why We’re Going Ahead with our Caesars Second Chance Promotion
Ok, so hey, we know this is a weird time to be thinking about a trip to Las Vegas. The Coronavirus pandemic has kind of put everything on the backburner. Casinos have been closed for months, the restaurants on the Strip won’t be opening in the near future and we still have to wear masks when we go into public.
That being said, the Nebraska Lottery is still going ahead with our Caesars Second-Chance Promotion and we wanted to let you know why.
This prize package has been in the works for a long time. Way before the virus first started. We’d done a similar prize package that included a stay at Caesars Palace back in 2017 and people really liked it. We thought doing it again would be a great idea. Then the pandemic happened.
Our Caesars Scratch ticket was printed a long time ago, before any of this started. There are instructions printed on the ticket directing players to our Second Chance drawing, and we wouldn’t be able to launch the game without one.
The two grand-prize winners have a year to use their prize package and they can allow another friend or family member to go in their place.
If, due to the Coronavirus pandemic, the winners are unable to take their trips to Las Vegas, we’ll find a way to make it right.
Planning for the Caesars Second-Chance promotion started last fall and we were really excited with what we came up with.
We’ll have two grand prize winners—one drawn on June 23, the second on July 28—each of who will receive a trip package worth $8,450 including the federal and state withholding taxes.
The two grand prize winners and their guests will receive two round-trip coach airfare tickets to Las Vegas from any U.S. airport, four nights and five days in Las Vegas including a four night stay in a deluxe hotel room at Caesars Palace. They’re also get two Caesars buffet passes, two Total Rewards Access Passes and $1,000 spending money.
To enter, players have to enter non-winning Caesars Scratch tickets through the Nebraska Lottery MVP Club accessible through nelottery.com.
This may seem like an odd time to run this Second Chance Promotion, but we’re really looking forward to our two winners to having the time of their lives in Vegas.
