Beware of New Mega Millions Scam

Categories: Lotto,Mega Millions,Scams

A few players have brought to our attention a new scam that is making the rounds. This scamĀ rips off Mega Millions branding and maliciously offers unsuspecting prey a check for $2.5 million.

The letter claims a “Mega Millionaires Lottery Sweepstakes Computerized Drawing” (What a name! Perhaps we should bring these scammers on to our marketing team…) is drawn every month for a prize of $2.5 million. The letter even includes an image of a check that can be claimed once the scammers have your valuable information.

Remember, in order to win a lottery prize you must always purchase a ticket or enter the drawing.
