Sean Santana September 26, 2013 – Sean Santana of Nebraska City won $50,000 playing the $5 Scratch game Gold Rush from the Nebraska Lottery.

Mesa purchased his winning Gold Rush ticket at Quik Pik, 401 South 11th Street in Nebraska City. Scratching the ticket, he revealed one card that beat the DEALER’S CARD for a corresponding prize of $50,000.

There are three $50,000 prizes available in Gold Rush. Santana is the second person to claim a top prize to date. He plans to buy a boat using his winnings.

Gold Rush is a $5 Scratch game from the Nebraska Lottery that offers players the chance to win $1.2 million in cash prizes from $5 to $50,000. The odds of winning the top prize in Gold Rush are in 1 in 120,000, while the odds of winning any prize are 1 in 3.73.
