Omaha Man Wins $5,000 Playing Mega Millions
March 27, 2014 – Robert Donnelly of Omaha won $5,000 playing Mega Millions from the Nebraska Lottery.
More than 42,000 Nebraska Lottery players won in the Tuesday, March 18 drawings. Donnelly purchased his winning Mega Millions ticket at Bag 'N Save, 770 North 114th Street in Omaha. The ticket contained four of the five winning white ball numbers (11, 19, 24, 33, 51) and the Mega Ball number (7) for a corresponding prize of $5,000.
Eight Nebraska Lottery players have won the $5,000 Mega Millions prize since the game was changed in October 2013. The odds of winning $5,000 playing Mega Millions are 1 in 739,688, while the overall odds of winning any prize are 1 in 14.7.
