$22,000 2by2 Prize for Sidney Man

Michael NienhuserJuly 19, 2010 – Michael Nienhuser of Sidney recently won $22,000 playing 2by2 from the Nebraska Lottery.

There were more than 17,000 Nebraska Lottery winners in the Saturday, July 3, drawings. Among these winners was Nienhuser, who purchased his winning 2by2 ticket at Two J's Liquor, 1500 Illinois Street in Sidney. The quick pick ticket contained the winning red ball numbers (8, 26) and winning white ball numbers (15, 25) from the July 3 drawing for a corresponding prize of $22,000.

Two hundred and twenty-four Nebraska Lottery players have won the 2by2 top prize to date.

While claiming his prize on July 7, Nienhuser said he was “shaking” after realizing he had won the $22,000 top prize. He learned he had won after checking the winning numbers at the Nebraska Lottery website, nelottery.com. Nienhuser plans to pay bills using his winnings.

2by2 is run by the Multi-State Lottery Association and was introduced in June 2002. Players in Kansas, Nebraska and North Dakota have the opportunity to win up to $22,000 Monday through Sunday by playing 2by2. The odds of winning the $22,000 2by2 top prize are 1 in 105,625, while the overall odds are 1 in 3.59.
