$30,000 Fun 5s Prize for Superior Woman

Sheila MooreJuly 19, 2010 – Sheila Moore of Superior won $30,000 playing the $5 Scratch game Fun 5s from the Nebraska Lottery.

Moore purchased her winning Fun 5s ticket at Ampride, 548 North Bloom Street in Superior. Scratching the ticket, she revealed one winning “bill” symbol in Game 5 with a corresponding prize of $30,000.

There are three $30,000 top prizes available in Fun 5s. Moore is the first person to claim a top prize to date.

While claiming her prize on July 6, Moore told Nebraska Lottery officials that she wasn’t sure at first that she had won the $30,000 prize. “I thought there was something wrong, so I went back and had them check the ticket,” she said. Moore plans to take a vacation using her winnings.

Fun 5s is a $5 Scratch game from the Nebraska Lottery that offers players the chance to win $817,000 in cash prizes from $5 to $30,000. The odds of winning the $30,000 top prize in Fun 5s are 1 in 80,000, while the overall odds of winning any prize are 1 in 3.61.
