Columbus Woman Wins $1,000 Playing Season’s Greetings

January 20, 2010 – Tammie Keener of Columbus won $1,000 playing the $1 Scratch game Season’s Greetings from the Nebraska Lottery.

Keener purchased her winning Season’s Greetings ticket at Corner Stop, 220 23rd Street in Columbus. Scratching the ticket, she revealed one winning “gift box” symbol with a corresponding prize of $1,000.

There were three $1,000 top prizes available in Season’s Greetings. Keener was the second person to claim a top prize in the game.

Season’s Greetings was a $1 Scratch game from the Nebraska Lottery that offered players the chance to win $404,600 in cash prizes from $2 to $1,000. The odds of winning the $1,000 top prize in Season’s Greetings were in 1 240,000, while the overall odds of winning any prize are 1 in 3.39.
