$1,000 Palms Prize for Lisco Man

December 21, 2009 – Leonicio Cruz of Lisco won $1,000 playing the $2 Scratch game Palms from the Nebraska Lottery.

Cruz purchased his winning Palms ticket at Kwik Stop, 109 Avenue A in Oshkosh. Scratching the ticket, he revealed one winning “Palm Tree” symbol with a corresponding prize of $1,000.

There are three $1,000 prizes available in Palms. Cruz is the first person to claim a $1,000 prize to date.

Palms is $2 Scratch game from the Nebraska Lottery that offers players the chance to win $276,620 in cash prizes from $2 to $10,000. The odds of winning $1,000 playing Palms are 1 in 80,000, while the overall odds of winning any prize are 1 in 3.75.
