$10,000 Powerball Prize for Lincoln Woman

December 21, 2009 – Stephanie Taylor of Lincoln recently won $10,000 playing Powerball from the Nebraska Lottery.

There were more than 20,000 Nebraska Lottery winners in the Saturday, December 5, drawings. Among these winners was Taylor, who purchased a quick pick Powerball ticket at Super C, 3400 Village Drive in Lincoln. One play on the ticket contained four of the five white ball numbers (27, 39, 41, 44, 58) and the Powerball number (17) from the December 5 drawing for $10,000.

Two hundred and sixty-one Nebraska Lottery players have won the $10,000 prize in Powerball to date. The odds of winning $10,000 playing Powerball are 1 in 723,145, while the overall odds of winning any prize are 1 in 35.11.
