November 12, 2009 – This winter, the Nebraska Lottery is offering a new lineup of holiday-themed $1, $3 and $5 Scratch games perfect for holiday gift giving.

At the $1 price point is Season’s Greetings. This quick-play game features a write-in area for the names of the giver and recipient, making it perfect for gift giving.

At the $3 price point is The Dog, which features a grid search play style and artwork with dogs dressed for the holidays.

Rounding out the trio of holiday games is $5 Peppermint Twist Big Bingo, an extended-play ticket which offers players twelve chances to win up to $40,000.

All three Scratch games are available for a limited time during the holiday season, and are perfect as stocking stuffers, gifts for co-workers, or something fun for the person who already has everything. Envelopes for giving Nebraska Lottery tickets are available at Nebraska Lottery retailers or online at nelottery.com for members of the Nebraska Lottery MVP Club.

Players that do not win playing $5 Peppermint Twist Big Bingo still have a chance to win by entering the Holiday Home Theater Giveaway.

Starting November 15, players can enter a non-winning $5 Scratch ticket for a chance to win a Nebraska-themed home theater package. Eligible entries include any of the available $5 Scratch games on sale from November 15, 2009, through Friday, January 15, 2010. A Grand Prize Drawing will be held on Tuesday, January 19, 2010. One Grand Prize winner will win a Nebraska-themed home theater package from Schaefer’s in Lincoln. One Second Prize winner will receive $2,000, and one Third Prize winner will receive $1,000.
