$50,000 Blazing Cash Prize for Doniphan Man

June 17, 2009 – Gary Little of Doniphan won $50,000 playing the $5 Scratch game Blazing Cash from the Nebraska Lottery.

Little purchased his winning Blazing Cash ticket at Pump & Pantry, 601 W 6th Street in Doniphan. Scratching the ticket, he revealed matching numbers with a corresponding prize of $50,000.

There are three $50,000 top prizes available in Blazing Cash. Little is the second person to claim a top prize to date.

While claiming his prize on June 8, Little told Nebraska Lottery officials that he learned he had won by scratching his ticket while eating breakfast one morning. He stated that he “jumped out of his seat” after realizing he had won the $50,000 top prize. Little plans to move to a new home and purchase computers for his children using his winnings.

Blazing Cash is a $5 Scratch game from the Nebraska Lottery that offers players the chance to win $1,632,000 in cash prizes from $5 to $50,000. The odds of winning $50,000 playing Blazing Cash are 1 in 160,000, while the overall odds of winning any prize are 1 in 3.59.
