Lincoln Woman Wins $1,000 Playing $50,000 Diamonds and Gold

July 25, 2008 – Gloria Jelinek of Lincoln won $1,000 playing the $5 Scratch game $50,000 Diamonds and Gold from the Nebraska Lottery.

Jelinek purchased her winning $50,000 Diamonds and Gold ticket at Wagner's Food Pride, 3308 A Street in Lincoln. Scratching the ticket, she revealed a winning “Gold Bar” symbol with a corresponding prize of $1,000.

There are three $1,000 prizes available in $50,000 Diamonds and Gold. Jelinek is the second person to claim a $1,000 prize in the game to date.

$50,000 Diamonds and Gold is a $5 Scratch game from the Nebraska Lottery that offers players the chance to win $816,000 in cash prizes from $5 to $50,000.
