Murray Woman Wins $20,000 Playing Black Ice

Black IcePamela Harris of Murray won $20,000 playing the $10 Scratch game Black Ice from the Nebraska Lottery.

Harris purchased her winning Black Ice ticket at 75 Mart, 114 Rock Bluff Road in Plattsmouth. Scratching the ticket, she revealed 20 matching numbers with corresponding prizes of $1,000, for a total of $20,000.

There are twenty $20,000 top prizes available in Black Ice. Harris is the first person to win a top prize to date.

While claiming her prize on October 13, Harris told Nebraska Lottery officials that a previous lottery win allowed her to buy her winning Black Ice ticket. “I won $10, so I decided to buy a Black Ice ticket,” said Harris. “When I scratched it off at the store, I couldn’t believe it.”

Black Ice is a $10 Scratch game from the Nebraska Lottery that offers players the chance to win $1.5 million in cash prizes from $10 to $20,000. The odds of winning the top prize in Black Ice are 1 in 24,000, while the overall odds of winning any prize are 1 in 3.13.
