Syracuse Woman Wins $13,333 Playing 3 Play

Angela Sharpes of Syracuse won $13,333 playing the $3 Scratch game 3 Play from the Nebraska Lottery.

Sharpes purchased her winning ticket at B&B Pump N Go, 535 Park Street in Syracuse. Scratching the ticket, she revealed 10 winning “3s” symbols for a corresponding prize of $13,333.

There were three $13,333 top prizes available in 3 Play. Sharpes claimed the last of the three top prizes.

While claiming her prize on June 16, Sharpes said she checked her ticket three times to make sure she had really won. The next morning, she checked it again before going to Nebraska Lottery headquarters in Lincoln to claim the prize.

3 Play was a $2 Scratch game from the Nebraska Lottery that offered players the chance to win $465,699 in cash prizes from $2 to $13,333. The odds of winning the top prize in 3 Play were 1 in 120,000, while the overall odds of winning any prize were 1 in 2.34.
