Beatrice Man Wins $10,000 Playing 10x the Money

Zachary Howe of Beatrice won $10,000 playing Nebraska Lottery’s $10 Scratch game 10X the Money.

Howe purchased his winning Scratch ticket at Casey’s west Beatrice location, 806 West Court Street. He says he’s a regular player of both Lotto and Scratch games, playing at least once a week, but he doesn’t normally purchase his tickets at that particular retailer.

10X the Money is one of Nebraska Lottery’s $10 Scratch games. Players scratch the prize area to reveal Winning Number and Your Number. If the two numbers match, the player wins the prize revealed in the prize column. Howe won the game’s top prize.

While claiming his prize on April 6, Howe told Nebraska Lottery officials, when checking his ticket at the retailer, the Casey’s clerk was even more surprised than he was. This is Howe’s first top-prize win. The odds of winning the $10,000 top prize are 1 in 12,000, while the overall odds of winning any prize are 1 in 3.72.
