Omaha Man Wins $35,000 Playing UNO

Al BahkitAlphonse Bakhit of Omaha won $35,000 playing the $3 Scratch game UNO from the Nebraska Lottery.

Bakhit purchased his winning ticket at AB’s 66, 4926 Underwood Avenue in Omaha. Scratching the ticket, he revealed matching cards forming a complete row with a corresponding prize of $35,000.

There are three $35,000 top prizes available in UNO. Bakhit is the first person to win a top prize to date. He plans to pay bills and take a vacation using his winnings.

Based on the popular card game, the $3 UNO Scratch game offer players the chance to win $936,100 in cash prizes from $3 to $35,000. The odds of winning the $35,000 top prize are 1 in 160,000, while the overall odds of winning any prize are 1 in 3.69.
