Bayard Woman Wins $200,000 Playing Spectacular 7

Connie LeeverConnie Leever of Bayard won $200,000 playing the Nebraska Lottery’s $20 Scratch game Spectacular 7 from the Nebraska Lottery.

Leever purchased her winning Spectacular 7 ticket at Bayard Tiger Paws, 144 Main Street in Bayard. Scratching the ticket, she revealed matching numbers for a corresponding prize of $200,000.

There are three $200,000 top prizes available in Spectacular 7. Leever is the first person to claim a top prize to date.

While claiming her prize on July 23, Leever told Nebraska Lottery officials that she was “surprised” to win the top prize. She plans to use her winnings to take a vacation and save for the future.

Spectacular 7 is a $20 Scratch game from the Nebraska Lottery that offers players the chance to win $10 million in cash prizes from $20 to $200,000. The odds of winning $200,000 playing Spectacular 7 are 1 in 240,000, while the overall odds of winning any prize are 1 in 2.39.
