$10,000 Powerball Prize for Silver Creek Woman

December 19, 2012 – Tara Urkoski of Silver Creek recently won $10,000 playing Powerball from the Nebraska Lottery.

There were more than 21,000 Nebraska Lottery winners in the Saturday, November 28th drawings. Among these winners was Urkoski, who purchased her winning ticket at Pump & Pantry, 609 Willard Avenue in Genoa. The ticket was good for 10 drawings and contained four of the five winning white ball numbers (5, 16, 22, 23, 29) and the Powerball number (6) from the November 28 drawing for $10,000.

Four hundred and five Nebraska Lottery players have won the $10,000 Powerball prize to date. The odds of winning $10,000 playing Powerball are 1 in 648,975, and the overall odds of winning any prize are 1 in 31.8.
