Columbus Man Wins $1,000 Playing Treasure Hunter

February 8, 2010 – Ron Rosno of Columbus won $1,000 playing the $3 Scratch game Treasure Hunter from the Nebraska Lottery.

Rosno purchased his winning Treasure Hunter ticket at Corner Stop, 220 23rd Street in Columbus. Scratching the ticket, he revealed one “Shovel” symbol with a corresponding prize of $1,000.

There are three $1,000 prizes available in Treasure Hunter. Rosno is the second person to claim a $1,000 prize to date.

Treasure Hunter is a $3 Scratch game that offers players the chance to win $979,200 in cash prizes from $3 to $35,000. The odds of winning $1,000 playing Treasure Hunter are 1 in 160,000, while the overall odds of winning any prize are 1 in 3.51.
