Beatrice Man Wins $1,000 Playing Billboard

July 30, 2009 – Dale Harrison of Beatrice won $1,000 playing the $3 Scratch game Billboard from the Nebraska Lottery.

Harrison purchased his winning Billboard ticket at Casey's General Store, 1500 East Court in Beatrice. The ticket contained ten songs with a Billboard chart position for This Week that was higher than the chart position for Last Week for $100 each, making Harrison’s total win $1,000.

There are four $1,000 prizes available in Billboard. Harrison is the first person to claim a $1,000 prize to date.

Billboard is a $3 Scratch game from the Nebraska Lottery that offers players the chance to win $967,600 in cash prizes from $3 to $20,000. The odds of winning $1,000 playing Billboard are 1 in 240,000, while the overall odds of winning any prize are 1 in 3.47.
