Columbus Woman Wins $1,000 Playing Hot 7’s Tripler

August 19, 2008 – Celina Perez of Columbus won $1,000 playing the $1 Scratch game Hot 7’s Tripler from the Nebraska Lottery.

Perez purchased her winning Hot 7’s Tripler ticket at Joe & Al's Grocery, 2304 Tenth Street in Columbus. The ticket contained three “O” symbols in a row for a corresponding prize of $1,000.

There are two $1,000 top prizes in Hot 7’s Tripler. Perez is the first person to claim a top prize to date.

Hot 7’s Tripler is a $1 Scratch game from the Nebraska Lottery that offers players the chance to win $445,220 in cash prizes from $2 to $1,000. The odds of winning the $1,000 top prize in Hot 7’s Tripler are 1 in 420,000, while the overall odds of winning any prize are 1 in 3.98.
