Lincoln Man Wins Harley-Davidson® Motorcycle

May 6, 2008 – At an event on May 6, the Nebraska Lottery presented Robert St. John of Lincoln with the first top prize motorcycle in the $2 Harley-Davidson® Scratch game.

Tuesday’s presentation took place at Kwik Shop, 2710 W Street in Lincoln, where St. John purchased his winning Harley-Davidson ticket. The ticket contained matching numbers for the corresponding motorcycle prize.

While claiming his prize, St. John told Nebraska Lottery officials that he was “excited” to win the 2008 Harley-Davidson Heritage Softail® Classic motorcycle. He stated that he purchased Harley-Davidson tickets to enter them into the Nebraska Lottery Harley-Davidson Second Chance Giveaway. When asked if he was planning on riding the motorcycle, St. John said, “Yes - it’s part of the family now.” St. John is the first person to claim a top prize in the game.

Two Harley-Davidson Heritage Softail Classic bikes are available as top prizes in the Harley-Davidson Scratch game. The motorcycle top prize is valued at $27,500, which includes $720 for costs associated with ownership and state and federal withholding paid by the Nebraska Lottery of $1,375 and $6,875, respectively. Additionally, the game offers a total of $726,000 in cash prizes from $2 to $1,000.

A third Harley-Davidson motorcycle will be given away as part of the Harley-Davidson Second Chance Giveaway. During the months of March, April, May, and June, players who send in one non-winning $2 Harley-Davidson ticket will be entered into the second chance giveaway. Fifteen semi-finalists will compete for cash prizes and a 2008 Harley-Davidson Heritage Softail Classic motorcycle during the Grand Prize Drawing at Frontier Harley-Davidson in Lincoln on June 14, 2008.
