‘TIS THE SEASON HOLIDAY 2ND CHANCE
CONTEST RULES

Overview

1.This promotion will run from 12:00 p.m. (CT) on Thursday, November 15, 2007 until 11:59:59 p.m. (CT) on Tuesday, January 15, 2008.

2.Participating Nebraska Lottery MVP Club members will receive one contest entry for entering the non-winning ticket serial numbers from one of each of the three Holiday Scratch tickets (#414 – $1 Holiday Bucks, #477 – $3 Naughty or Nice Crossword and #478 - $5 Merry Money Multiplier) through the Nebraska Lottery website at www.nelottery.com by the deadline on January 15, 2008.

NOTE: As of December 26, $3 Nebraska Crossword has been added to the list of eligible games. Naughty or Nice Crossword is sold-out, its last top prize has been claimed, and the game close process has begun.

3.A preliminary drawing will be held by the Nebraska Lottery on Monday, December 10, 2007 to select ten (10) winners to each receive the following:

- $25 in $1 Nebraska Lottery Scratch Tickets

- one Lottery-themed holiday greeting card and matching envelope to send, with the $1 Scratch tickets, to a gift recipient of their choice

- one $5 Merry Money Multiplier Scratch Ticket to keep for themselves

To be considered for the preliminary drawing, entries must be received by 11:59:59 p.m. (CT) on Sunday, December 9, 2007.

4.A final prize drawing will be held by the Nebraska Lottery on Friday, January 18, 2008 to select three (3) winners to each receive $1,000 cash.

To be considered for the final prize drawing, entries must be received by 11:59:59 p.m. (CT) on Tuesday, January 15, 2008. All entries made from November 15 until January 15 are eligible for the final drawing.

How to Enter

5.To enter, a player must log in with his or her Nebraska Lottery MVP Club membership on www.nelottery.com and enter the non-winning ticket serial numbers from one of each available Holiday Scratch tickets (#414 – $1 Holiday Bucks, #477 – $3 Naughty or Nice Crossword and #478 - $5 Merry Money Multiplier). One entry includes the entry of three non-winning tickets – a $9 total purchase. Individual tickets may not be entered more than once. Players may enter the second-chance promotion more than once. Duplicate ticket entries will be considered null and void.

Contest Terms

6.Only entries submitted by Nebraska Lottery MVP Club members through www.nelottery.com and containing complete and valid information are eligible for this promotion contest.

7.Ticket numbers will be checked for authenticity. Entries drawn which do not have valid ticket numbers will be discarded and alternate entries will be drawn. The actual scratch tickets from which ticket numbers are submitted in this contest may be required for prize verification, and should therefore be retained until the contest has ended and all prizes have been awarded. Photocopies or facsimilies of the original tickets will not be accepted

8.Entries which are lost, late, illegible, incomplete, misdirected or incompletely received, including by reason of technical malfunction, network congestion or system incompatibility are ineligible.

9.Information provided by Nebraska Lottery MVP Club members will be kept confidential, and will be used solely by or on behalf of the Nebraska Lottery and will not be shared with or sold to outside parties without MVP Club member approval.

10.The drawings will be conducted by a computer random number generator program at Nebraska Lottery headquarters in Lincoln, Nebraska. The Nebraska Lottery will notify contest winners. The identity of contest winners is public information pursuant to Lottery regulations and may be posted on the Lottery website and publicized by other means including, but not limited to, news releases and articles in the Nebraska Lottery players digest and retailer newsletter.

11.Prizes awarded in this and any other promotional contest conducted by the Nebraska Lottery are taxable income and may be reported for tax purposes. Winners of prizes over $500 in value will be checked for outstanding tax and child support liabilities to credit prize awards in accordance with state law. Prizes over $5,000 in value will automatically have state and federal income tax of 5% and 25%, respectively, withheld in accordance with state and federal law.

12.Prizes won in this contest are not transferable and, unless otherwise stated in the contest rules, may not be assigned except by judicial order. The Nebraska Lottery will substitute a prize of equal or greater value if the advertised prize cannot be awarded due to unavailability for any reason. In such event, certain conditions and restrictions may apply.

13.The Nebraska Lottery is not responsible for any travel, lodging, meals or other expense related to claiming any prize. Non-cash prizes may not be exchanged or redeemed for cash value. Prizes consisting of lottery tickets will be mailed to Nebraska addresses only. Out-of-state winners may pick up lottery ticket prizes at a Nebraska Lottery claim center location by arrangement.

14.Participants must be 19 years of age or older and be Nebraska Lottery MVP Club members to enter this contest. Employees of the Nebraska Lottery and its contractors, subcontractors and their immediate family members residing in their same household are ineligible.

15.Nebraska Lottery MVP Club membership entitles one to receive information concerning Nebraska Lottery products and promotions according to his or her stated preferences. An MVP Club member may modify his or her member profile at any time by following the directions on the MVP Club members login page on the Nebraska Lottery website at www.nelottery.com.

16.Contest rules, drawing dates, deadlines and procedures are subject to change without notice as may be deemed necessary or appropriate by the Nebraska Lottery in its sole discretion. By entering this contest all participants agree to be bound by Nebraska state law and the rules and regulations of the Nebraska Lottery.
