Just in time for tailgate season, Lincoln couple win new Traeger Grill

Congratulations to Angie Parson of Lincoln who won first prize in our Camo Cash Second-Chance promotion!

Angie entered a non-winning Camo Cash ticket and won her and her husband Mark a brand new Pro Series 22 Traeger grill, a $250 Scheels gift card, a Nebraska Lottery swag bag, $150 in Nebraska Lottery Scratch tickets and $50 in Nebraska Lottery Lotto coupons.

She bought her ticket at Speedee Mart at the corner of Holdrege Street and N 56^th Street in Lincoln. It wasn’t a winner, so she entered it online. On October 8, she got the call that she’d won, which was news she didn’t want to share.

Angie wanted to surprise Mark with the grill, so we set up a quick meetup back at Speedee Mart. She told her husband they were going to go look at a dog, but she had other plans in mind.

The Nebraska Lottery crew showed up with the Traeger in tow and met Mark and Angie inside the store.

Mark was wearing a mask when he walked in, but you could see the surprise in his face as soon as he heard the word grill.

“When I got the call, I almost started bawling because I never win anything,” she said. “I could hardly believe it.”

The Parsons loaded up their new grill into their pickup and Mark said he was all ready to give it a shot.

“I’m gonna go cook a steak,” Mark said. “Porterhouse.”

On October 7, the Nebraska Lottery drew for three winners in the Camo Cash Second-Chance Promotion. A second place winner took home a Yeti Tundra Haul hard cooler, a $250 Scheels gift card, a Nebraska Lottery swag bag, $150 in Nebraska Lottery Scratch tickets and $50 in Nebraska Lottery Lotto coupons. One third place winner got a Yeti Roadie hard cooler, a $250 Scheels gift card, a Nebraska Lottery swag bag, $150 in Nebraska Lottery Scratch tickets and $50 in Nebraska Lottery Lotto coupons.
