NEBRASKA LOTTERY PICK FIVE AND DRIVE – OCC CHOPPER ONLINE GIVEAWAYPromotion RulesOverview1.MVP Club members have the chance to win a Nebraska Edition custom-built motorcycle from Orange County Choppers by purchasing a Nebraska Pick 5 ticket from June 14 through July 15, 2008. Members will receive one contest entry for each non-winning Nebraska Pick 5 ticket number that is submitted though www.nelottery.com.2.The contest will run between 12:00 a.m. (CT) on June 14 and 11:59:59 p.m. (CT) on July 15, 2008. Entries must be received no later than the deadline on July 15, 2008.3.Each entry requires submission of the number from a non-winning Nebraska Pick 5 ticket. Eligible tickets must be purchased during the promotion dates of June 14 – July 15, 2008. Eligible tickets may be of any value, but must contain non-winning numbers. Drawing and Prizes4.Two online drawings will be held to select five semi-finalists. The first drawing will be held July 1, 2008 to select three semi-finalists. The second and final online drawing will be held July 16, 2008 to select two semi-finalists. The semi-finalist drawings will occur at Nebraska Lottery headquarters in Lincoln, Nebraska on the dates specified. In each of the online drawings, a computer-generated random number generator selection procedure will be used to draw the winning entries. All five semi-finalists will be invited to attend the Grand Prize giveaway event on Sunday, July 20, 2008 at the Lincoln Saltdogs game. The five semi-finalists will participate in a set of randomized selection activities at the Grand Prize giveaway event to determine the Grand Prize winner, the first runner-up, the second runner-up, the third runner-up, and the fourth runner-up. The selection of the Grand Prize winner and subsequent runners up shall be conducted pursuant to additional contest rules formulated by the Nebraska Lottery and made available to the public no later than July 20, 2008.Prizes for the Grand Prize event are the following:- Grand Prize – An OCC™ motorcycle signed by the Teutuls that features a design exclusive to Nebraska, valued at $87,857 (includes $1,300 for costs associated with ownership and state and federal withholding paid by the Nebraska Lottery of $4,393 and $21,964, respectively).- First Runner-up - $2,500- Second Runner-up - $2,000- Third Runner-up - $1,500- Fourth Runner-up - $1,000How to Enter5.To enter a participant must log-in with his or her MVP Club membership on nelottery.com and submit the serial number from one eligible, non-winning Nebraska Pick 5 ticket of any value. The 25-digit serial number can be found at the top and bottom of each ticket.6.Participants may enter this contest multiple times. However, a ticket’s serial number may be entered only once and will be counted as one entry. Ticket Availability and Contest Terms7.Nebraska Pick 5 is available at Nebraska Lottery retailers statewide and may be purchased by any Nebraska Lottery player age 19 or older—not just MVP Club members. 8.Only entries submitted by MVP Club members through nelottery.com and containing complete and valid information will be eligible for this contest. The ticket numbers submitted on entries drawn will be checked for authenticity, and entries drawn that do not have valid ticket numbers will be discarded and alternate entries will be drawn in their place.9.The actual tickets from which ticket numbers are submitted shall be required for contest prize verification and must be retained until the contest has ended and prizes have been awarded. Any failure to present an actual ticket when requested by the Nebraska Lottery shall result in that entry’s disqualification. In such an event, an alternative entry will be chosen. 10.Entries that are lost, late, illegible, incomplete, misdirected or incompletely received—including by reason of technical malfunction, network congestion or system incompatibility—are not eligible. The Nebraska Lottery assumes no liability for any stolen, lost, late, illegible, incomplete, misdirected or incompletely received entries, including entries not properly received by reason of technical malfunction, network congestion or system incompatibility.11.Information provided by MVP Club members will be kept confidential and will be used solely by or on behalf of the Nebraska Lottery and will not be shared with or sold to outside parties. 12.The Nebraska Lottery will notify contest winners. The identity of contest winners is public information according to Lottery regulations and may be posted on the Nebraska Lottery website and publicized by other means including, but not limited to, news releases and articles in the Nebraska Lottery players magazine and retailer newsletter. 13.Prizes awarded in this and any other contest conducted by the Nebraska Lottery are taxable and may be reported for tax purposes. As with all prizes of $500 value or more, winners will be checked for back taxes and child support in accordance with Nebraska law. Prizes of $5,000 or more will automatically have state and federal income tax of 5 percent and 25 percent, respectively, withheld in accordance with law. Prizes are not transferable and unless otherwise stated in contest rules may not be assigned except by judicial order. 14.Vacation trip prizes may not be exchanged or redeemed for cash value. The Nebraska Lottery is not responsible for any prize after it is awarded, and is not responsible for transportation, lodging, meals, and other expenses associated with claiming or redeeming any prize except as expressly provided in these rules. Arrangements for the First Prize will be coordinated by the Nebraska Lottery with the winner. 15.Prizes consisting of lottery tickets will be mailed to Nebraska addresses only. Any Second Prize winners residing outside the State of Nebraska may arrange to pick up their lottery tickets from a Nebraska Lottery claim center. In the event the First Prize becomes unavailable for any reason, the Nebraska Lottery will award an alternate prize of equal or greater monetary value; however, the First Prize winner may not demand, and is not entitled to, any substitution of the First Prize other than that offered by the Nebraska Lottery. If the First Prize winner cannot accept the First Prize as, when, or under the terms offered, he or she may transfer the prize to an alternate recipient of his or her choosing. If in such case the First Prize winner refuses or fails to designate an alternate by the time prescribed by the Nebraska Lottery, he or she will forfeit the right to make such election, and the Nebraska Lottery will designate an alternate entrant drawn as the First Prize winner. 16.Participants must be 19 years old or older to enter this contest or to buy or redeem Nebraska Lottery tickets. Employees of the Nebraska Lottery and its contractors, subcontractors, and members of their immediate families residing in the same household are ineligible.17.Membership in the Nebraska Lottery MVP Club entitles one to receive information concerning Nebraska Lottery products and promotions according to his or her stated preferences. Members may modify their member profile at any time by following the directions on the MVP Club member login page of nelottery.com. 18.Contest rules and drawing dates and deadlines are subject to change as may be deemed necessary or appropriate by the Nebraska Lottery in its sole discretion. By entering this contest all participants agree to be bound by state law and the rules, regulations, policies and procedures of the Nebraska Lottery. All disputes will be decided by the Nebraska Lottery and its decisions regarding this contest and its rules are final.
