Nebraska Lottery March Update
ST. PATRICK’S DAY MYDAY NTH TICKET PROMOTION
Buy a MyDaY ticket on St.
Patrick’s Day, and you could have the chance to win a free MyDaY ticket in the
one-day St. Patrick’s Day MyDaY Nth Ticket Promotion.
A trailer ticket will be produced on every 9th, 99th and 990th MyDaY purchase across
the state on Saturday, March 17. The lottery terminal will sound and a trailer ticket
will print following the purchased ticket each time the Nth purchase is triggered.
- Every 9th ticket will create one free MyDaY play good for the March 17 draw;
- Every 99th ticket will create one free MyDaY play good for the March 17 - March 23,
2012, draws (6 total); and
- Every 990th ticket will create one free MyDaY play good for the March 17 - April 16,
2012, draws (26 total).
The total cost, or amount of plays of the MyDaY purchase, does not determine the Nth
ticket trigger – this is based solely on the number of MyDaY transactions across
Nebraska. Every 99th ticket will only trigger the 99th ticket prize, and will not trigger
the 9th ticket prize. Additionally, every 990th ticket will only trigger the 990th ticket
prize, and will not also trigger the 9th or 99th ticket prizes. The promotion will end at
9:00 p.m. (C.T.) on March 17.

KNOW THE SIGNS OF PROBLEM GAMBLING
Over 42,000 people in Nebraska, an estimated three percent of all adults, experience
gambling problems each year, according to the Department of Health and Human Services
(HHS).
March is Problem Gambling Awareness Month in Nebraska. Communities across the state
will be working to raise awareness of problem gambling and the resources available for
individuals whose gambling is causing disruption in their lives.
You may have a gambling problem if you:
- Gamble for longer than you intended;
- Borrow money to gamble;
- Lie about how much you gambled; or
- Bet more than you intended.
Other warning signs are:
- Loss of interest and participation in normal activities with friends and family;
- Avoidance of questions about time and money;
- A sudden need for money/loans; missing possessions or assets; financial
instability;
- Decline in health and neglect of personal needs, such as medical, food, utilities,
etc.; and
- Changes in attitude and personality; emotional instability, withdrawal,
depression.
Problem gambling affects the emotional, physical and financial wellness of individuals
and their families and impacts every aspect of society. If you or someone you know has a
problem with compulsive gambling, please call the Nebraska Compulsive Gambling Help Line
