NEBRASKA LOTTERY DAY AT THE STATE FAIR

Sunday, September 5, is Nebraska Lottery Day at the Nebraska State Fair. To celebrate, we are offering our players a coupon for $2 off adult gate admission on September 5. Just print the following coupon and present it at the Nebraska State Fair gate to receive the discount.

This offer is limited to one discount per person, per coupon, and is not valid with any other offer. While you’re at the State Fair, be sure to stop by the Nebraska Lottery trailer near the northwest corner of the Heartland Events Center to purchase tickets and win great Nebraska Lottery prizes.

THIRD FORD F-150 CLAIMED BY ASHTON MAN

Michael Kosmicki of Ashton is the third winner of a 2010 Ford F-150 XLT Super Crew 4x4 Flex Fuel truck in the 15th edition of the Nebraska Lottery’s $2 Truck$ & Buck$ Scratch game.

Kosmicki recently purchased his winning Truck$ & Buck$ ticket at Trotter Whoa & Go Express in Loup City. Scratching the ticket, he revealed three “TRUCK” symbols in Game 2 for the corresponding truck prize.

There are four Ford F-150 trucks available in Truck$ & Buck$. Kosmicki is the third person to claim a top prize truck to date.

Nebraska Lottery officials presented Kosmicki with his prize on Tuesday, July 27, at Trotter Whoa & Go. During the presentation, he told Nebraska Lottery officials that he purchased his winning ticket after cashing in some tickets at the store. “I bought three Truck$ & Buck$ tickets and scratched them off at the counter,” said Kosmicki. “The third one was the truck winner.” Kosmicki said that he was “very happy” to win the truck prize.

The 15th edition of the Nebraska Lottery’s popular Truck$ & Buck$ Scratch game features the 2010 Ford F-150 XLT Super Crew 4x4 Flex Fuel truck as its top prize. Players have the opportunity to win one of four Ford F-150 trucks as well as $741,000 in cash and Ethanol-enriched fuel prizes. The truck prize is valued at $50,000, which includes $1,465 for costs associated with ownership and state and federal withholding paid by the Nebraska Lottery of $2,500 and $12,500, respectively. The odds of winning the top prize in Truck$ & Buck$ are 1 in 180,000, while the overall odds of winning any prize are 1 in 3.53.

CHIEFS CASH FANTASY SECOND-CHANCE WEBSITE PROMOTION

Whether you’re a die-hard Kansas City Chiefs fan, an all-around football fanatic, or want to simply get away for a weekend, the Chiefs Cash Fantasy Second-Chance Promotion gives you the chance to turn your non-winning ticket into one of several Chiefs home game ticket packages!

This promotion is divided into three timeframes, each of which provides different prizes for the winners. MVP Club members will receive one entry in a drawing for each non-winning $5 Chiefs Cash Fantasy Scratch ticket (Game #582) submitted though www.nelottery.com. The ticket number from the non-winning ticket can be entered between the dates of August 1, 2010, and January 31, 2011, to be eligible. Entries must be received by 11:59 p.m. (C.T.) on the last day of each promotional period for inclusion in this second-chance promotion.

The first part of the promotion will run from August 1 to September 30, 2010. On October 1, four winning entries will be drawn from all entries submitted during that period. Each of the four winners will receive the following:

• Four upper level game tickets to the Chiefs home game versus Denver at Arrowhead Stadium on Sunday, December 5;
• Pre-game sideline passes;
• Four Chiefs Yearbooks;
• Four Lamar Hunt ball caps;
• Eight passes to the 2011 Draft Day event;
• $500 cash; and
• $100 in $1 Nebraska Lottery Scratch tickets.

The second part of the promotion will run from October 1 to November 30, 2010, and the third part of the promotion will run from December 1, 2010, to January 31, 2011.

One single contest entry requires submission of the ticket numbers from one (1) non-winning $5 Chiefs Cash Fantasy Scratch ticket. Players may enter this web contest multiple times, but qualifying non-winning ticket numbers may only be entered once.
