Nebraska Lottery May Update

TRUCK$ & BUCK$ SECOND-CHANCE RAPTOR GIVEAWAY

You could win a new 2010 Ford F-150 SVT Raptor truck or cash prizes in the Nebraska Lottery's Truck$ & Buck$ Second-Chance Raptor Giveaway.

During the months of May, June, July, and August, players who send in $10 worth of non-winning $2 Scratch tickets will be entered in the Truck$ & Buck$ Second-Chance Raptor Giveaway for a chance to win a 2010 Ford F-150 SVT Raptor truck. Entries may be submitted via the Nebraska Lottery website, www.nelottery.com, or by mail. Entries will be accepted until 5:00 p.m. (C.T.) on Tuesday, August 24, 2010.

There will be three preliminary drawings held in this Second-Chance Giveaway to select 15 total semi-finalists:

• Wednesday, June 2, 2010 – five semi-finalists selected;
• Wednesday, July 14, 2010 – five semi-finalists selected;
• Wednesday, August 25, 2010 – five semi-finalists selected.

All semi-finalists will be invited to attend the Grand Prize drawing to be held live on Saturday, August 28, 2010, at the Lincoln Saltdogs home baseball game.

The Grand Prize winner will win a Ford F-150 SVT Raptor SuperCab 4x4 Flex Fuel truck. The Grand Prize winner will also receive a $100 E-10 gift card and a cash award. Five second-tier winners will receive $1,000 cash. All semi-finalists (15) will receive a $50 E-10 gift card and a prize package with products from the Nebraska Lottery, Ethanol-enriched Fuel, Nebraska Game & Parks Commission, and Nebraska Pork Producers Association.

2010 TRUCK$ & BUCK$ COMMERCIAL

Each year, the Nebraska Lottery develops a statewide television campaign to accompany the launch of the Truck$ & Buck$ Scratch game. "Stop dreaming and start playing" is the concept for this year's campaign. The commercial follows an animated model of the 2010 Ford F-150 XLT Super Crew 4x4 Flex Fuel prize truck as it speeds around a convenience store. MAY SCRATCH GAME SURVEY CONTEST

The Nebraska Lottery truly appreciates the opinions of our players. That's why MVP Club members can win cold hard cash just for completing a short web survey.

Players participating in the survey will answer questions about Nebraska Lottery Scratch products. Information and opinions offered will help create better Scratch games for our players. This survey should take about 20 minutes to complete.

Nebraska Lottery MVP Club members will receive one contest entry for completing a survey at www.nelottery.com between the dates of May 7 and June 6, 2010. A drawing will be held by the Nebraska Lottery on Wednesday, June 9, 2010, to select three winners. One first prize winner will receive $1,000 cash; one second prize winner will receive $500; and one third prize winner will receive $250.

Every MVP Club member may enter the contest once.

GRAND ISLAND CLAIM CENTER TO CLOSE MAY 21

The Nebraska Department of Revenue Grand Island office, which houses a Regional Lottery Claim Center, will be permanently closed on May 21. Nebraska Lottery prizes of $501 to $19,999 may continue to be claimed in person at the four remaining claim centers in Omaha, Norfolk, North Platte, and Scottsbluff. Additionally, prizes may be claimed via mail by sending a completed claim form to:

Prizes of $20,000 or more must be claimed in person at Nebraska Lottery headquarters in Lincoln.
