Nebraska Lottery October UpdateCLAIM CENTER HOURS As of October 18, the Nebraska Department of Revenue offices in Norfolk, North Platte, and Scottsbluff are open from 8:00 a.m. to Noon, Monday through Friday. Nebraska Lottery prizes may be claimed at the Regional Lottery Claim Centers in these locations during these hours, or by appointment after these hours. To make an appointment, call the Nebraska Department of Revenue at (800) 742-7474 (toll free in NE and IA), or (402) 471-5729. Additionally, prizes may be claimed via mail by sending a completed claim form to: Nebraska Lottery Prize Claim Prizes may be claimed at the Omaha Regional Lottery Claim Center and at Nebraska Lottery headquarters in Lincoln between 8:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m., Monday through Friday. Nebraska Lottery MVP Club members will receive one contest entry for completing a survey at www.nelottery.com between the dates of October 15 and November 14, 2010. A drawing will be held by the Nebraska Lottery on Monday, November 15, 2010, to select winners. One first prize winner will receive $1,000 cash; one second prize winner will receive $500; and one third prize winner will receive $250. Every MVP Club member may enter the contest once. New for 2010 is Red & Green, a $2 Scratch game with artwork featuring the Red & Green M&M’s® characters. Returning for the second year at the $3 price point is The Dog, which features a grid search play style and artwork with dogs dressed for the holidays. Rounding out the lineup of holiday games is $5 Holiday Cheers™ Bingo, an extended-play ticket based on the highly rated “Cheers” television show that offers players the chance to win up to $40,000. All four Scratch games are available for a limited time during the holiday season, and are perfect as stocking stuffers, gifts for co-workers, or something fun for the person who already has everything. Envelopes for giving Nebraska Lottery tickets are available at Nebraska Lottery retailers or online at nelottery.com for members of the Nebraska Lottery MVP Club. Players that do not win playing $5 Holiday Cheers Bingo still have a chance to win by entering the Holiday Cheers Second-Chance Giveaway. Starting November 1, players can enter their non-winning $5 Scratch tickets for a chance to win a trip to Boston and the Cheers bar. Eligible entries include any of the available $5 Scratch games on sale from November 1, 2010, through Saturday, January 15, 2011. Entries must be submitted via the Nebraska Lottery website, www.nelottery.com, by the deadline on January 15. A Grand Prize Drawing will be held on Tuesday, January 18, 2011. Two Grand Prize winners will each receive a 4 day/3 night trip for two to Boston, Massachusetts, and $500 cash. Ten Second Prize winners will receive Cheers prize packs.
