Edgar Woman Wins $14,777 Playing Sizzling Summer 7s

Kristy BabcockKristy Babcock of Edgar won $14,777 playing the Nebraska Lottery’s $2 Sizzling Summer 7s Red Hot Rubies Scratch game.

Babcock purchased her winning ticket at Ampride, 404 North Center Street in Clay Center. Babcock claimed the first of three top prizes available by scratching her ticket to reveal a “7” that corresponded with her prize.

Sizzling Summer 7s Red Hot Rubies is one of three Sizzling Summer 7s Scratch games the Nebraska Lottery is offering during the summer of 2015. The overall odds of winning the $14,777 top prize in Red Hot Rubies are 1 in 120,000, while the odds of winning any prize in the game are 1 in 3.43.
