Crete Woman Wins $5,002 Playing MyDaY

Jacque RueJacque Rue of Crete recently won a total of $5,002 playing MyDaY from the Nebraska Lottery.

There were more than 9,500 Nebraska Lottery winners in the Tuesday, March 17 drawings. Among these winners was Rue, who purchased her winning MyDaY ticket at Crete Foodmart, 925 Main Street in Crete. The four-play ticket contained one play with the winning Month (11), Day (30) and Year (20) from the March 17 drawing for the $5,000 top prize.

A second play on the ticket contained the winning Month for $1, and a third play contained the winning Month from the March 18 drawing for $1 for a total prize of $5,002.

Three hundred and seventy-two Nebraska Lottery players have won the MyDaY top prize to date.

Rue is a regular Nebraska Lottery player who won $22,000 playing 2by2 in October 2014. While claiming her latest prize on March 19, she told Nebraska Lottery officials that the MyDaY win was one of three prizes she had that claimed that week. “On Monday, I won $365 playing MyDaY, then $5,000 on Tuesday, and then $200 playing Nebraska Pick 3 on Wednesday,” said Rue. “I guess it’s my lucky week.” She plans to pay bills using her winnings.

MyDaY is a Nebraska Lottery Lotto game with a calendar theme. Players can win up to $5,000 by choosing a six-digit date for each $1 MyDaY play. The odds of winning the $5,000 top prize in MyDaY are 1 in 36,525, while the overall odds of winning any prize are 1 in 8.17.
