Shelton Man Wins $22,000 Playing 2by2

Dustin BennettDustin Bennett of Shelton won $22,000 playing 2by2 from the Nebraska Lottery.

There were more than 1,900 Nebraska Lottery winners in the Sunday, September 21 2by2 drawing. Bennett received a free ticket as a prize from a previous 2by2 play at Pump & Pantry, 495 St. Libory Avenue in St. Libory. The quick pick ticket contained the winning red ball numbers (2, 4) and winning white ball numbers (7, 10) from the September 21 drawing for a corresponding prize of $22,000.

Three hundred and thirty-seven Nebraska Lottery players have won the 2by2 top prize to date.

While claiming his prize on October 24, Bennett told Nebraska Lottery officials that he learned he had won after his mother checked the ticket at a retailer. “My mom called and told me the news,” said Bennett. “I said, ‘Mom, this isn’t April Fool’s Day.’ I couldn’t believe it.” He plans to pay bills using his winnings.
