North Platte Man Wins $40,000 Playing Dashing Through the Dough

DeVaney purchased his winning Dashing Through the Dough ticket at Casey’s General Store, 2421 Rodeo Road in North Platte. Scratching the ticket, he revealed a complete path with a corresponding prize of $40,000.

There are three $40,000 top prizes available in Dashing Through the Dough. DeVaney is the first person to claim a top prize to date.

While claiming his prize on October 10, DeVaney told Nebraska Lottery officials that he scratched off the ticket on his way to work. “I had everyone at work check it. It was unreal,” said DeVaney. He plans to purchase a new truck using his winnings and save the rest for the future.

Dashing Through the Dough is a $5 holiday Scratch game from the Nebraska Lottery that offers player the chance to win $1.2 million in cash prizes from $5 to $40,000. The odds of winning the top prize in Dashing Through the Dough are 1 in 120,000, while the overall odds of winning any prize are 1 in 3.09.
