$10,000 Powerball Prize for Omaha Woman

Brenda Burke of Omaha recently won $10,000 playing Powerball from the Nebraska Lottery.

There were more than 11,500 Nebraska Lottery winners in the Saturday, October 4, drawings. Among these winners was Burke, who purchased her winning ticket at Kwik Shop, 7525 Cass Street in Omaha. The quick pick ticket contained four of the five winning white ball numbers (13, 18, 24, 25, 33) and the Powerball number (31) from the October 4 drawing for $10,000.

Four hundred and sixty-five Nebraska Lottery players have won the $10,000 Powerball prize to date. The odds of winning $10,000 playing Powerball are 1 in 648,975, while the overall odds of winning any prize are 1 in 31.8.
