Juniata Woman Wins $100,000 Playing Turquoise Treasures

Ginger Ogle of Juniata won $100,000 playing the $10 Scratch game Turquoise Treasures from the Nebraska Lottery.

Ogle purchased her winning Turquoise Treasures ticket at Ampride South, 1410 West J Street in Hastings. Scratching the ticket, she revealed matching numbers with a corresponding prize of $100,000.

There are three $100,000 top prizes available in Turquoise Treasures. Ogle is the second person to claim a top prize to date.

While claiming her prize on September 16, Ogle told Nebraska Lottery officials that she was “shocked” to realize she had won the top prize. “I scratched it off and I couldn’t believe it,” said Ogle. “I had to ask a coworker to pinch me so I knew it was real.” She plans to pay bills and purchase a car using her winnings.

Turquoise Treasures is a $10 Scratch game from the Nebraska Lottery that offers players the chance to win $2 million in cash prizes from $10 to $100,000. The odds of winning the top prize playing Turquoise Treasures are 1 in 100,000, while the overall odds of winning any prize are 1 in 3.28.
