Eagle Woman Wins $5,000 Playing MyDaY

Judy KastensJudy Kastens of Eagle recently won $5,000 playing MyDaY from the Nebraska Lottery.

There were more than 6,500 Nebraska Lottery winners in the Thursday, June 26 drawings. Among these winners was Kastens, who purchased her winning MyDaY ticket at Casey’s General Store, 310 Highway 34 in Eagle. The ticket contained the winning Month (10), Day (27) and Year (36) from the June 26 drawing for the $5,000 top prize.

While claiming her prize on June 27, Kastens told Nebraska Lottery officials that she uses family birthdays to choose her MyDaY numbers. She learned she had won after seeing the winning numbers in the newspaper. Kastens plans to make some home improvements using her winnings.

MyDaY is a Nebraska Lottery Lotto game with a calendar theme. Players can win up to $5,000 by choosing a six-digit date for each $1 MyDaY play. The odds of winning the $5,000 top prize in MyDaY are 1 in 36,525, and the overall odds of winning any prize are 1 in 8.17.
