During the months of May, June, July, and August, players sent in $8 worth of non-winning Scratch tickets for a chance to win a total of $150,000 in cash prizes in the Lucky Summer '13 Giveaway. Four preliminary drawings were held to select a total of 20 semifinalists who competed for cash prizes from $2,000 to $50,000 at the Grand Prize drawing event on August 25 at the Nebraska State Fair.
