Lincoln Man Wins $22,000 Playing 2by2

Chris Fujan April 2, 2013 – Chris Fujan of Lincoln recently won $22,000 playing 2by2 from the Nebraska Lottery.

There were more than 1,500 Nebraska Lottery winners in the Sunday, March 10 drawings. Among these winners was Fujan, who purchased his winning 2by2 ticket at Russ’s Market, 2840 South 70th Street in Omaha. The quick pick ticket contained the winning red ball numbers (12, 20) and winning white ball numbers (1, 17) from the March 10 drawing for a corresponding prize of $22,000.

Two hundred and ninety-one Nebraska Lottery players have won the 2by2 top prize to date.

While claiming his prize on March 11, Fujan told Nebraska Lottery officials that he received his winning ticket by using a 2by2 discount coupon that was available at Nebraska Lottery retailers. “I always play during the lottery promotions, and there was a coupon for $2 off when you buy seven 2by2 draws, so I decided to use it,” said Fujan. He plans to play bills using his winnings.

2by2 is run by the Multi-State Lottery Association and was introduced in June 2002. Players in Kansas, Nebraska and North Dakota have the opportunity to win up to $22,000 Monday through Sunday by playing 2by2. The odds of winning the $22,000 2by2 top prize are 1 in 105,625. The overall odds of winning any prize are 1 in 3.59.
