Gothenburg Man Wins $15,000 Playing Bunco

February 27, 2013 – Randy Holbein of Gothenburg won $15,000 playing the $2 Scratch game Bunco from the Nebraska Lottery.

Holbein purchased his winning Bunco ticket at Time Saver, 604 8^th Street in Gothenburg. Scratching the ticket, he revealed three identical dice with a corresponding prize of $15,000.

There were three $15,000 top prizes available in Bunco. Holbein was the third person to claim a top prize to date.

Bunco was a $2 Scratch game from the Nebraska Lottery that offered players the chance to win $390,200 in cash prizes from $2 to $15,000. The odds of winning the top prize in Bunco were 1 in 300,000, while the overall odds of winning any prize were 1 in 3.97.
